When you’re working against a deadline, sometimes the finished piece leaves the store before we have a chance to capture all the photos and videos we’d love to take. Luckily, I managed to snap a few quick shots of this beauty before she went home. This custom ring features a stunning 3.68 carat natural emerald set in a handcrafted white gold bezel. For anyone outside the jewelry world, that might sound simple. For a jeweler, it’s anything but. Natural emeralds are one of the most delicate gemstones we work with, and setting a stone of this size into a white gold bezel takes incredible skill, patience, and precision.
