Meet Catherine, Our Local HER-O
As an ovarian cancer survivor, Catherine had experienced firsthand how the financial burden of fighting this disease can devastate families.
Many women in our community face the same fight — with little to no financial aid, even while working full-time.
That’s why she created FOO – For Ovaries Only, a nonprofit supporting ovarian cancer patients at MD Anderson in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
There’s no early detection. No cure.
But with your help, we can raise funds, spread awareness, and give women in treatment the support they truly need.
